Application & Audition Information
Thank you for your interest in applying and auditioning for the
2025-2026 season of the Fort Worth Youth Orchestra!
Applications & auditions are still open for some ensembles & instruments! Please see below.
In order to be considered for placement in an FWYO ensemble during the 2025-2026 season, all applicants must submit the following:
1) A completed online application
2) An audition video recording*
*To verify the identity of the applicant, recording must be video, and applicants should introduce themselves verbally. Hand positions should be visible in the video.

Jr. WIND ENSEMBLE
*Eighth grade & under*
Rehearses Wednesdays, 6:00-7:15PM
Auditions still open for these instruments:
Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Bari Sax, Percussion
JWE Audition Requirements:
• All major scales you currently know
• 30 seconds each of:
a) One technical selection of your choice
b) One lyrical selection of your choice
Selections can be from etudes, excerpts, or solo repertoire.
FWYO JAZZ
Rehearses Mondays, 6:00-8:00PM, beginning Oct. 27
Auditions still open for these instruments:
Trumpet, Trombone, Guitar
